Champion Chess Club is teaming up with Atlanta Chess Club for this inaugural event with $1500 Prize Fund based on 40 paid entries. USCF-Rated tournament. One day, 4 rounds of G/55;inc 5 non-scholastic or scholastic at G/25;d5. 150 Max Player Entries.FREE PIZZA to all players from 1PM-3PM Open Section 1st place $500+Trophy(trophy only awarded based on tiebreak), 2nd Place $200. Under 1800 Rated Section 1st Place $300, 2nd Place $100. Under 1400 Rated Section 1st Place $300, 2nd Place $100. Sections may be combined at Chief TD discretion. Any player rated 1600 or above may play in Open Section. Any player rated 1200 to 1799 may play in Under 1800 Section. Unrated may play in any section but must obtain a USCF ID. Unrated max prize is $100 unless playing in Open Section. Schedule for Open, Under 1800&Under 1400 G/55;inc5: Round 1@10am, Round 2@12:10pm, Round 3@3pm, Round 4@5:10pm. Schedule for Scholastic G/25;d5: Round1@10am,Round2@11:10am,Round 3@12:10 pm,Round4@2 pm Trophies 3:15 to 3:30PM. Trophies to top 3 in each Scholastic Section Chess sets supplied. Some clocks available but please bring your own clock if possible. Entry Fee $40 by 11:59PM 10/29/26 then $50 by 11:59PM 11/7/26 then $60 until 9:30AM 11/14/26. Free entry for (W)GM, (W)IM ($50 subtracted from prize). Scholastic Entry Fee $35 by 09:30AM 11/14/26. Top 3 Trophies in each section.
