First C4 Club Championship!

This free tourney is open to all active USCF players rated 800+ Regular.
Please note: (1) no byes are allowed & (2) the withdrawal deadline is Nov 28th.
Voluntary donations are much appreciated, as they support future events like this.

Tournament Format

1. USCF membership required
2. Deposit - $10 is paid during registration and will be refunded (1) if withdrawn before the deadline or (2) after the event concludes, if all 3 rounds are played.
3. Sections - An 800+ Quads Section (& if needed, a 5-7 person, 3 round Swiss Section)
4. Quads - meaning players will be grouped into sections of 4 (i.e. quads) & will play each of the 3 similarly rated players in their quad.
5. G/55 d5 - For each game, each player has 55 min to make all their moves, with a 5-sec delay per move. This dually rated time control counts towards both USCF Regular & Quick ratings.
6. No byes may be requested.
7. Prizes! (subject to change) - $10 per quad winner (split if points are tied)!

Full Schedule

1. 10:30 - 10:45 AM: Check-in period
2. 10:45 AM - 12:45 PM: Round 1
3. 12:45 - 1:30 PM: Lunch break
4. 1:30 - 3:30 PM: Round 2
5. 3:30 - 5:30 PM: Round 3

Additional Notes

1. The tournament room is located close to the front. Once inside, climb the stairs (or use the elevator) and turn right.
2. The parking lot is located directly in front of the library main entrance (2 min walk).
3. 💯% ADA accessible
