The story

How their day came together

The challenge

Players and families needed to follow pairings, standings, and round times without repeated paper updates.

Their story

Josh printed two QR codes before C4 x SMC. Players and parents scanned them to follow the tournament and check when to return between rounds.

How Chess67 helped

Membership checks helped Josh catch expired US Chess memberships before the rating submission. He reports that no player received the same color three rounds in a row.

Results

Josh says he distributed prizes after the final round and uploaded the tournament for US Chess rating. Rating processing completion is unconfirmed.
