Set section eligibility and play-up options

Step by step

1. Open the section settings and check its published rating, age, and grade limits.
2. Review whether unrated players may enter. Read the selected rating sources and any rating-checking policy before relying on the registration checks.
3. For a scholastic section, review the requested age or grade details and the section requirements. A scholastic label alone does not explain every eligibility rule.
4. If play-up options are offered, review which higher sections players can choose and whether an extra fee applies. Paid options require the activity payment setup to be ready.
5. Preview registration for the intended participant and read any explanation that blocks a section. Correct the participant details or section settings before confirming an exception.
